Electronic waste (e-waste) has become one of the fastest growing waste streams worldwide due to rapidtechnologicaladvancement, frequent device upgrades, and increasing consumption of electronic products. Improper disposal of electronicdevicesleads to serious environmental and health hazards because many electronic components contain toxic materials such as lead, mercury, and cadmium. In many developing countries, including India, a large portion of e-waste is handled by the informal recyclingsector, which often follows unsafe and environmentally harmful recycling practices. This paper presents an E-Waste CollectionandRewardSystem, a software-based digital platform designed to encourage responsible disposal of electronic waste throughanincentivemechanism. The proposed system provides a web-based interface where users can register, submit e-waste disposal requests, andreceive reward points after successful verification of the collection process. The system architecture includes a user interfaceforinteraction, a backend server for request processing, a centralized database for storing records, and a reward management modulethatcalculates and distributes incentives to users. By integrating digital tracking, user participation, and reward-based motivation, thesystem aims to increase public awareness and participation in formal recycling programs. The proposed platformalsoimprovestransparency and efficiency in e-waste management by maintaining digital records of recycling activities and rewardtransactions.Overall, the system contributes to promoting sustainable waste management practices and supports the development of acirculareconomy by encouraging responsible electronic waste disposal.
