The study “Investigating the Role of HRM Practices in the Performance of Organisations in Chennai City” examineshoweffectively implemented Human Resource Management (HRM) practices contribute to organisational performance. Usingastructuredquestionnaire and quantitative analysis, the research explores key HRM dimensions such as recruitment, training, performanceevaluation,motivation, and employee commitment. ANOVA results reveal significant differences in employee perceptions across demographicgroups, highlighting the varied influence of HRM practices on productivity, job satisfaction, workflow efficiency, and organisational goal achievement. The findings demonstrate that HRM practices play a crucial role in shaping employee behaviour and overall organisational effectiveness. The study provides valuable insights for HR professionals and management, emphasising the need for strategic and inclusive HR policies to enhance performance in Chennai-based organisations.
