Abstract

in this paper main aim is to focus on to pattern
matching and analysis of image for vehicle’s number plate
recognition using template matching. In this research work
car images was tested by applying template matching
algorithm and out of many images of vehicle’s number
plate recognition done correctly. Some of images are wrong
result due to distance, image size, angle of view, condition of
weather or illumination condition etc. Pattern matching
and analysis traffic monitoring system; border security
system; signal system etc.
