Abstract: The present work is focused on the study the behavior of the structure during the construction process when is itsubjected to various load as the construction work progresses. The analysis performed is known as Construction SequenceAnalysis (CSA) in which the structure is analyzed according to the actual construction practices i.e. applying the loads as theconstruction proceeds.The analysis is performed on G+10 multistorey building and the results are compared for Linear Static Analysis andConstruction Sequence Analysis on ETABS 2017. Also the analysis has been performed by introducing the floating column inthe building on interior and exterior side and the results obtained are compared on basis of certain parameters like bendingmoment, shear force, axial force and deflection.Keywords: Linear static analysis, floating column, construction sequence analysis, deflection, multistory, stages.
